OF COURSE I LOVE YOU (Till I find someone better) by Durjoy Datta

This is a book written by Durjoy Datta and co-authored by Maanvi Ahuja back in 2008 and it was his first book. This book was kept in my house from a long time but I was never interested in that but when I started reading, it kept me engaged throughout the book. The book is written in an easy-to-read format and an be understood very easily.

The protagonist, Debashish Roy is a Bengali boy who lives in Delhi and studies at Delhi College of Engineering and has dated and bedded many girls until he finds his perfect match, Avantika, who is projected as a beautiful and smart girl, still in a hangover of her last relationship. They face many hurdles in their relationship and they deal with all that stuff like anxiety, stress, mental trauma, etc.

The book was a good read but it lacked a proper plot and setting. It was an enjoyable read but it seemed worthless after finishing the book. This book is in a romance category but it showcases lust and intimacy as only way to express love.

I liked the way, Duroy kept the piece simple and comprehensible and it also depicts the life in an engineering college and the different kind of characters in a college but this book is a bit depressing for a reader who is searching for a good story.

Overall, I enjoyed reading it but failed to have a good summary of the story at the end.

I would rate this book 2.5/5 but Durjoy has improved a lot in the timespan of about 12 years so this rating is only related to this book not to the entire career of the author.
