A very delayed blog on the publication of the poem 'What is Love?' in the anthology titled 'Love is in the Air Volume-2 '. This publication is very close to my heart as this was so much fun working out in this piece of mine with my special one, Anisha Vats. She has a lot of input in this work. The idea was mine but the beauty of words are hers very likely to the Collection of beautiful pearls done by Anisha and the thing I did was just the weaving of those pearls and this made a beautiful necklace to wear.
Here are the first few lines from this piece:
My dearest asked me once
'Is what we feel real love?'
Took a minute for me to think,
WHAT IS LOVE, WHAT IS LOVE?
Has anyone seen what love looks like?
How will we confirm if we're in love?
I can never expect an answer an answer because
lovers refuse answering, WHAT IS LOVE?
Who knows the first love of their life,
Is she an affectionate mother or a gentle wife?
A feeding lady with stitches firm and sleep lost
but a baby can't deduce, WHAT IS LOVE?
